I would say the gameplay is rather interesting in the moba sense as the difficulty is rather substantial compared to others. The items, heroes, map and other mechanics all have a great aspect in the game, however in stating this, I do believe the game is rather difficult for new players to get into as a player, however, even the spectator mode for games is great as Dota is a great game tailored to viewing.
