Overview
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a isometric shooter with puzzle, The Coop is satisfying and the soundtrack is great. The game has a range of weapons to unlock to accommodate many playstyles. the controls are decent and the story is a good length for it's price point. Unfortunately like the previous game I am a little upset by the small number of challenge levels, however I suspect more will be added as paid downloadable content.
Overall a good game to play solo or better with friends.

The Game
Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris. - Sequel to Lara Croft and the Guard of the Light, this game builds on what had been done before. by increasing the number of players to up to four and updating the graphics while leaving the gameplay and style the same. It is a well thought out sequel.

Gameplay consists of traversing various levels and shooting any hostile enemies that try to attack you. With simple puzzles throughout the levels to add flavour.

There are a good selection of things to unlock and to choose from, being able to select 2-3 extra weapons on top of the default is a powerful asset to the game. The two rings and amulet you can carry also alter the character slightly.

While the release version has a few bugs, but there are quick workarounds for most and with a good number of checkpoints per level there is not much in the way of wasted time should anything happen.

The Characters
The characters themselves are nice, a few funny lines between the two adventure characters but nothing really substantial beyond that story wise.

The Controls
I personally found the keyboard and mouse movement to be easy to master, although many people have reported having problems.
The game uses Xinput for controller support but I was able to get multiple non-xinput controllers working with both x360ce and pinnacle game profiler.

The Cooperative Gameplay
At release this game unfortunately for it's voice communications had always transmitting on by default and as such has spoilt public co op games for me. But it is very easy to play privately.

Playing Cooperatively in itself is fun and engaging, the puzzles are modified depending on the number of players and allow for slight variation.

The Replayability
While there are two boss fights without challenges, all the major boss fights and all levels have challenges, (for example: kill a few enemies a certain way) that add a small amount of replay value to the levels. Unfortunately the puzzles, like all static puzzle games once you know the solution, the puzzles rarely cause any problems on other playthroughs.

Unfortunately beyond that I don't expect to see multiple playthroughs unless for speed running.

The Disappointments
Besides and the bugs and transmitting always on by default there was one other thing that I was disappointed about.

Although I was okay with the length of the story and the price of the game, much like the previous game, I was a little disappointed with the number of challenge levels.

I hope and look forward to more challenge levels being added as paid downloadable content.
