My beautiful baby boy Ethan was taken at 4:36 AM last Wednesday. Ethan was a strong fighter, but just couldn't go any more against the sickness (doctors never told me what it was, and I never asked).
We spent his final moments doing the things he loved most: bathing and drawing. We also convinced the late-night hospital janitor to whip up an enchilada for Ethan's final meal.
It was very, very cold but it was beautiful to watch his mouth as he ate. I'll never forget those teeth...
