To be brief, it objectively has the best gameplay in the series, absolutely stunning graphics and beautiful animations. This is a great game to begin with because it has all the modern bells and whistles you expect, but I will conclude by mentioning that as a long-term RaC fan I think there could've been so much more done with this game, it still doesn't live up to the charm of the originals but that's okay as I still had an absolute blast with the game, and I'm glad it's on Steam! :)

Since no one can afford houses anymore, we may as well submit to a life on a somehow homely floating platform. Raft has that hook on you early on (pun not intended), where you exponentially increase your resource gain until your raft is considered a small country. After that, well, there's a shark and some interior decorating to be done.

The same purple lizard that ran rampant in your PS1 but cooler lookin' and stuff!
Pretty faithful remake and it's definitely worth the purchase just to chill and unwind with on mellow nights.

The singleplayer experience of this game is a masterpiece, the multiplayer however is only good if you intend on mucking around with some mates (driving around the map etc).

I can't be bothered writing an extensive review here, and i'm really just trying to get the steam awards badge (i nominated best fun with machines) but i may as well say here that i do genuinely think this game deserves your purchase as it's some of the most fun you'll ever have!

Kept refreshing the page when it had a few minutes to go just to buy what I considered the best ty as a child, My opinions might of changed but either way im ecstatic about taking my third nostalgia trip :D
as for a review? well, as far as i remember this was a really good game, and krome have done phenomenally well with the steam ports!.

Although i haven't played alot, I'd say that it is definently an awesome game as it is, with a slight amount of replayability, having different modes, weapons and challenges you could do as you sneak around or just brutally slash everyone to bits, either way unfortunatly my laptop stuggles to run it on lowest resolution and lowest settings (getting around 5-10 fps :/) which may just be unreal engine.

Regardless of me I've 'played' enough to see the potential this game has and how fun it could be, provided you had the ability to run at atleast 20 fps :P

all-in-all, Recommended, especially for the low price :D

Got the game only to take the nostalgic trip :D
Grew up playing this game with my brother the most fun i've had on the ps2 and for it to come back on steam is so amazing!

This game is absolutely amazing. It's my most played game and i enjoy playing all day everyday.
Brawlhalla is rather polished for something still in the beta-ish stages, obviously needing more updates to further increase it's general greatness.
I'm a diamond player and really enjoy playing with my friends
i'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a game to have there on the side at the cost of nothing (although ive spent about $325 AUD on cosmetics xD) it is definitely the best free to play small little game in my opinion.
one problem however i commonly encounter is the somewhat toxic community, yes there are really friendly people but most of the time people tend to say something nasty if you win or loose regardless, i guess that's just what happens with these types of games: alot of salty players.
Other than that. legendary game for all i'd say. but of course if you're not into this sort of game then obviously you wouldn't like it :P.
As for me, I'm a 2v2 competitive player ranking #1 aus and top 30 globally several times throughout seasons 1-6, however casual play is just as fun if you want to create your own mini-rules, which i have personally experienced before. Try doing No sigs, only sigs, or just playing your worst legends with some friends, Brawlhalla is not limited to the conventional fighting, you can even 1v7 some bots! :D

Edit: I would like to say that i'm doing this edit as of now to get my badge for the steam autumn sales and whatnot, however i did nominate it for the "no apologies" award as I feel many people feel negatively about this game (possible because of their lack of skill ;D) and i would like to say despyte that i still love the game although i havent played a whole lot in general across the recent months.
