Hit enemies with your shield and make them explode.
Tear them apart with your bare hands.
Destroy the status quo of complacent gods.
Enjoy an excellent story and adventure that will make you want to experience every bit of content the game has to offer.

Echoed World is a very interesting game with a very interesting story. Its gameplay reminds me of games such as Limbo, a 2D-meets-3D, story-driven adventure in which the plot unfolds itself before you. The narration is strong and the game manages to establish a world of power and magic that's deeply intriguing and captivating. The art style is a mix of dark and light, with a magical essence pervading through the world you explore. The transition from level to level, with blackness enveloping your screen from the foreground, is both immersive and calm on the eyes. The game is comfortable.

While the art style is an enjoyable aspect of Echoed World, the way in which it displays itself and its story is quite disappointing. Its script is very unnatural, possibly written by someone who doesn't have English as a first language - I picked up on Indian? Itts captions are, likewise, a minefield of typos and unfitting words and improper turn of phrase. The game's animations and character rendering are another downfall, with the main character's avatar being a lump of shaped pink plasticine; scarily badly rendered and unpolished. At times, the narration was quite overpowering, and I found it did not mix well with the calm ambience of the soundtrack. I can see that the soundtrack picked up at times to mirror the emphasis of the male narrator, but it was too little and didn't sync very well.

I fell on spikes and the game froze up in a black screen. I restarted the level and got stuck on a bouncing pad. I feel this game could use some time in Beta, or perhaps apply a quality assurance period to your future games. Echoed World is brisking the line of unplayable.

Fantastic game. Could use a few touches here and there, but otherwise it was an enjoyable adventure experience.

The gameplay is old-fashioned and fun. The community is casual, immersive and usually lacking the children. It's everything you want from a game you play in your spare time.

Fun, easy, fair Shoot 'em Up game that isn't Pay-To-Win as others are, Arctic Combat is top-quality FPS gaming that anyone will enjoy.
