Writing a review for a bunch of soundtracks less than a dollar seems dumb, but here we go

This DLC currently adds 28 tracks to your Payday 2 folder, by default (win 10) located here:

The songs added stem from various trailers, their website and short films - they're not tracks you will be listening to while mowing down cops, nevertheless they're great as always, so uhm... here's a list of tracks:

The Collector Pack

Hotline Miami ★★★★★
NOTE: This DLC is included in both PAYDAY 2: GOTY Edition and Heist Bundle
You do not need to own the DLC to play the heist.

Hotline Miami is one of the first Heist DLCs added to the game. It's a 2 day job with a lot of action, a unique feel to it and great replay value. I have probably run the map 500 times and it's still a favorite.
The heist can only be done loud and if you succeed while cooking meth the payout is huge.

The Heist: Day 1 takes place at a motel owned by the Commissar. Layout of the map is the same every time you load it up - with the few randomly changed locations being the meth lab and the hatch leading to the basement.
The objective is to piss off the Commissar who will then contact Bain and give away his hiding place. You do so by killing mobsters, burning cars and blowing up the nearby gas station.
Once you've figured out where he is, you head over to the Delorean and escape with any loot you've managed to steal and cook up during your stay at the motel.
Day 2 starts off in a shipping crate within a basement of some apartment complex. As with Day 1 the layout is also the same every time but with an alternating route.
The objective is to make it up the four floors riddled with mobsters and C4 - on your way up you will also encounter the worst drill in the game and a dude tied to a chair, wearing a suicide-vest. The faster you make it to the top, the more coke will be waiting for you at the end.
Once you've made it to the top floor you blow your way through some double-doors and enter the penthouse apartment - here you will find a couple of cops and dozers taking out the remaining mobsters, with only the commissar still alive, hiding inside his panic room. You force your way inside, take out the Commissar and escape by chopper.

Both days are very hectic and can be difficult - but with the right crew they're not impossible. The atmosphere is phenomenal and no heist quite resembles it. There are a few bugs (as with most heists), and these have been around since the map came out. I can't comprehend how obvious, game breaking bugs can be left around for over 2 years. Alas, most annoyances are found on the first day, so restarting doesn't hurt too much.

Weapons: Three weapons are included in the DLC, they're all SMGs and will therefore not be among the best guns in the game. With that being said, they are some of the top SMGs, easily usable on Death Wish with a reliable primary.
The Blaster 9mm has a high fire-rate, acceptable damage and has a decent ammo pool. It can be modded for high concealment for dodge builds.
The Uzi rivals most assault rifles; high accuracy, low recoil and good fire-rate. It does however take a hit with its low ammo pool so use it alongside a reliable primary or with extra ammo.
The Škorpion is a modern remake of my favorite gun. In Payday 2 it functions the way it should. No recoil, not the best accuracy, easily concealable and blessed with a high ammo pool. This is one of the few guns I'd deem viable for Death Wish - mod it for high damage (and currently a suppressor) and use it for close quarters. Don't expect it to hit targets far away and you've got yourself a great secondary.

Melee weapons, masks, patterns and materials: Purely cosmetic and/or minor aspects of the game.
-Some cosmetics and a single melee weapon are unlocked by purchase of Hotline Miami (the game) - none of them are of any use, beyond the quirky looks. Content requiring you to buy other games is a downer, but HM is said to be a great game and chances are you already own it.

Misc: The soundtracks are great - very memorable and adrenaline-inducing.

Overall: When I'm an old fart lying on my deathbed, loved ones will be standing around the bed looking at me with pity, their thought circulating distant summer days on the beach. I'll be thinking back to the rundown motel and the Commissar's wise words. This is a great DLC - get it on sale or just go ahead and buy it, it's worth it.
