I am currently connected to the public Ethernet at my dorm and the ports that need to be open for the chat system to work are blocked. Any ideas for a work around?

In topic Not what i expected.
Just play solo for a bit if you really aren't able to get kills against others. I mean, the reason is that you're bad, but still. Or play medic and spam heal for XP

In topic New Game Mode (MvM Addition)
I have a new idea for a game mode which is a mix of MvM and L4D. It is a 6v6 competitive game mode which works alot like regular MvM and L4D competitve. One team plays as the humans/mercinaries/defenders and one team plays as the robots/attackers. This plays very similarly to regular MvM as in the defenders have time to set-up for the attack. The attackers play as Super or Giant robots, i.e. Giant soldier, heavy, uber-medic, Big League Scout, mabey add engies and giant demos. The attackers will get the regular support that you would expect from MvM. The classes you can pick from as an attacker depend on the current wave and progresses much like Gears Of War's Beast mode; as waves go on you have more classes to choose from. The attackers have a limited amount of time to take the bomb to the site and blow it up, much like regular MvM. Defenders would have access to the same upgrades as the regular, and mabey new ones that revolve around the PvP. Since playing humans as defenders will almost always be harder, the time they have to defend may be shortened to compensate. The defenders should have a certain amount of lives in one game; the number of times they can have a do-over if the attackers plant. Balancing would be the key to this game mode, but I'll leave that to Valve. I feel this would be a great addition to TF2 and to create a new game mode everyone can enjoy competitively with friends. In topic should there be 3 more classes ?
I don't think it is possible to add 3 more classes without compleetley screwing up tthe balance. It would also screw up competitive games of highlander and 6v6.
