Great game. Great raids. Fun, distinct class gameplay. Overall, the game is very fun, and provides many great features that you'd expect from an MMO- Cosmetics and social aspects are being improved constantly and we continue to get more great content with every patch.

The only caveats that I would mention that is a massive turnoff for this game is the two following things if you are looking for a min/max hardcore experience:

1. It's grindy. Be prepared to do dailies every day (or at the very least every 3 days or so) to make progress, especially later on in ilvl. By no means do you need to do everything every week, but you shouldn't expect to be up to the most recent content without putting in considerable effort and time as a F2P, or at the very least getting lucky from a very expensive accessory/bracelet drop.

2. Horizontal content contributes significantly to the viability of your class- Runes and extra skill point potions are almost required, and this requires weeks of effort to that end doing side content that you may or may not find enjoyable. This is less true for certain classes that don't require things like wealth runes, but for a decent majority of classes this is the case. The content can be a slog, but there are only a few things that are locked behind unreasonable goals- If you really hate side content, avoid doing Rohendel at all costs- It requires over 5 weeks of dailies to complete as I recall and even some of its mokoko seeds are annoying as hell to get (one of very few mokoko seeds that require completing a very specific challenge within a dungeon). Most of the other things in the game I would say are fair game with the exception of very fringe content like getting all 94 (currently, as of 1/21/23) island souls, which requires layers on layers of rng on top of being time locked from every adventure island, but luckily most of the rewards for things like this are just collector's toys and skill point potions or other consequential runes/items tend to be very low down the reward bracket so that you don't have to experience the grind to simply play the game.
