Probably the best free roam open world game since Minecraft. This is honestly a must have for any type of survival game fan.

GTA III is great, the Definitive Edition is not. That is the reason why I don't recommend this game.

One thing is good about this edition, the autosaves. But other than that it is a waste. Some graphical additions have been added, but I'm not sure it makes the game look that much better, but it surely makes it run worse...
And thats it; These points already has mods equivalents that could do the same thing so yeah...

Also, you can't fly the unflyable Dodo... I'm serious, they removed the key binds used to move the flaps up or down... Good job devs!
(It might work on a compatible Xbox controller, but I'm not sure. My third-party controller didn't work though)

Fun game, if you've played the other games in the trilogy before-hand, or at least Rise of the Tomb Raider. this game will feel familiar.
Overall I see improvements over the last game, the climbing and platforming feels less random, however, doing side jumps
into grapple-hooking walls are a pain sometimes.

Graphics and animations are really well made, especially facial animations in cutscenes.

The only constructive criticism is that since this is supposed to be the end of this trilogy, I feel like, without spoiling the ending, it should have been a bit more impactful.

Beautiful remake of the original Half-Life, and improved in the correct places.
Big memorable events are recreated in great detail, animation and quality, it was a joy to experience them again.

I did run into some crashes, especially during Xen, where I would need be to load from a point further back. I'd recommend to save often, not only quicksaves but also normal saves, as they seemed more stable.

Yes, the performance could be better. But so far that is the only drawback. It improves so much on the first game.

The mixed reviews are not valid concerning the gameplay itself. So many good decisions and improvements from the first game and it feels way smarter.

Looking forward to spend countless hours in this.

I think a lot of people take this game for granted.
This game brings so much to the table, but yes, I can somewhat see the criticism of a game that is very wide but shallow.
This game is being compared with Skyrim, Fallout 4, Baldur's Gate 3, No Man's Sky, Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen to name a few. Why so many? Because it is literally impossible to compare it to any one game.

In terms of content, it is one of a kind, and it perfectly scratches my itch.
