Thank you too, for testing some games I wanted to know about (not only Desolate Hope, but also some games in the review).
LordTyrent Jan 9 @ 7:51am
FNAF's 2 to UCN are not providing a windoed mode for me. This makes them imcompatible with the program completely.

FNAF 1 works with forced scaling off and so does desolate hope.

I'm happy you got me to test those as I find it very strange that only FNAF 1 allows me to go windowed mode.

Each game has a different max resolution as well.

FNAF 1 hits 4k fine
FNAF 2 only goes to 1080p
and so and and so forth.

So I apologise, and thank you. <3

Well, it's what remember. Might easily be wrong. But backgrounds at the very least, and some other objects, are 2D, so it makes sense they become blurry. But maybe they are in high enough resolution for blur to not be very noticeable to everyone. If you are determined to spend some time on testing Desolate Hope, then better test it with this app without forced resolution, so that we knew if there's an additional way to play DH in high resolution in case blur problems are real.
LordTyrent Jan 9 @ 5:44am
Thats strange. Neither Desolate hope or the FNAF games have any blur for me running on my 4K monitor. I'll try to see if I can emulate this tomorrow.

>Desolate Hope already has a fullscreen setup that uses the desktop resolution, much like the FNAF games, also by scott.

Many 2D games have fullscreen mode which just stretches the game from its native resolution to full screen using, probably, monitor's scaling, or something equally blurry. So such games (and Desolate Hope too, even though it's not completely 2D) still need this app. As far as I remember, I had to play Desolate Hope in windowed mode because fullscreen was blurry. Anyway, I'm content enough to know that at least DH isn't "proven to not work".

Thanks for help :D

I'll test out the games again with this setting turned off and add the results to the lest

Hi, this error means app can't resize game window.
When you set 'Force resolution' setting app compares current game resolution, monitor resolution and selected scale factor. The goal is to resize game window so that game resolution multiplied to scale factor will equal monitor resolution.
It seems you select very high scale factor and checked force resolution setting. App tries to fit the scaled game to screen so tries to downsize the game window, but game doesn't allow this. Thats why you see this error.
Actually this setting designed for games, that doesn't allow you to choose resolution in menu when running in a window (mostly modern 3D games). Using it for 2D games may distort them.
All you need is to find out what resolution game running (if it the only possible resolution) and set the scale factor so that when it miltiplied to game resolution it would be equal or lower your native resolution.

Organized games via Alphabet. Big thanks to thomas for helping me out with lots of games! He is hard at work testing lots of games I don't, so he is helping out a lot!

If anyone else who has purchased lossless scaling, feel free to add me or post your findings in the comments <3 <3

Ah! Apologies for the Desolate Hope!

I did not mean to put it on there. Everything else is correct!

Desolate Hope already has a fullscreen setup that uses the desktop resolution, much like the FNAF games, also by scott.
