When i played this game. I went in completely blind. Not even watching the trailers or anything of the game.
I haven't gotten this invested in a game since Dragon's dogma. A massive open world where you can literally go everywhere you can see. So many interesting things you can do.

Don't go in with a build in mind. Literally play how you want to play. Only thing I would advise is. NPCs are scattered around the map so don't bother if you are planning on talking to every single one of them without using a guide beforehand. So I'd recommend doing that in a NG+ run.

Another tip i will mention: Buy everything from NPCs. They hold information to deal with later areas and some of the items they sell will definitely become useful especially for making the game easier.
