Pikuniku is a charming little puzzle platformer that reminds me a bit of Locoroco. It lacks in content, But it makes up for it with co op gameplay, a funny story and a very coherent experience.

It has a little story, It is very short, The story should take you around 2 - 3 hours. but it is a good experience, The game is very coherent with all its elements, The soundtrack, graphics, gameplay, story. It all feels just right. You play as a little red monster with 2 legs, You mostly spend the game helping the npcs with their problems, There are also a few very basic side missions.

There is Local coop in special coop levels, You can also play Bassketball locally against eachother. The levels are pretty short, But it should fill up about an hour of co op gameplay, I think coop is pretty fun, but it could use a lot more levels with a lot more challenge in my opinion.

There are a bunch of challenge levels which have fast platforming or puzzles, But they are not hard. There are also a few bosses, But the game offers no real challenge, except for a single mini game. The game has a few missable trophies but these trophies stack between games, It also has a few missable achievements, But the game doesn't take very long

The game has a bunch of outfits which mostly have special abilities you need to progress in the game. There are also a bunch of secret areas which mostly are not very hard to spot. The game is funny in a childish way, It is very suitable for kids.

The graphics are pretty unique, It reminds me a bit of Locoroco, It is very childish It fits the style of the game well. The soundtrack also fits the game very well. The performance is great, The game is locked to 60fps, but it syncs to the display refresh rate if it is higher when you turn Vsync on.

Mostly you are looking for objects, solving puzzles or looking for ways to accomplish something. The game is a nice mix of gameplay, There are also a bunch of minigames that can be fun but frustrating, One achievements requires you to get a 999 score on a minigame, When I got to 600 and dropped the ball I was done.

Overall I can recommend the game, It is great for kids, But it is also a nice game to play if you are looking for a casual game with some simple puzzles. The co op is pretty cool too. I have to give it a 8, It is a good game, But it certainly lacks a bit in content for the price.
