Celeste is one of those games that I have multiple versions of, and for good reason. This game is a work of art. From the beautiful pixel art, to the beautifully composed soundtrack by Lena Raine, it's an experience that will leave you wanting more. You're going to die, and die a lot for that matter. The first time I beat the game was a long journey, but one that I will never regret. Since that first time, I have replayed and speedrun the main game a fair few times. I may even consider myself a Celeste enthusiast, despite having never beaten Farewell, Celeste's free DLC chapter. Speedruns are a blast with this game, and are very rewarding in the process. Every second you save from your previous run feels like an accomplishment. Celeste is simply that good. If you're not a fan of platformers, first of all, what is wrong with you? And second of all, give this game a try. It might just change your terrible opinion on platformers. If you're already a fan of platformers, you're in for your most challenging platforming experience, and one that you won't ever regret having. Celeste, without a doubt, is the peak of indie game mountain. Pun intended. Seriously, if you haven't played Celeste, get to it.
