I bought this game for the Xbox 360 nostalgia and wasn't disappointed. Was one of my favorites as a kid and I still love it. The aesthetic and sound design of this game are insanely cool and well designed, there's a dark atmosphere to it. This is from the age of lazy PC ports so some tweaking is required to get a solid experience, and it isn't as stealth-focused as the older SC games, but it is worth a play imo. If you can get a friend and are willing to mess around to get online working, the coop is a great addition too that i remember fondly. GG

Well-made, immersive RPG in the under-utilized isometric perspective. Has a great story with unique and interesting characters, deep world building, a good soundtrack, it's just amazing. Lets u become a communist, and you get to hang out with the GOAT Kim Kitsuragi the whole game, what's not to love? Highly recommend

The cops are OP but it's a really fun arcade racer. Tons of fun with friends, customizing cars is amazing, but swapping big engines into little cars just makes everything else irrelevant lol

If you like Half Life or have even the slightest interest in single player FPS games, just buy this. It delivers the same gameplay experience as Half Life but modernized, and it is so so so good. Graphically impressive, true to the original in every way that matters, it's just a fantastic project. Only gripe gameplay-wise is that the Xen remake overstays its welcome a bit, but so did the original Xen. I just love this game, I love half life, and I love to support an indie dev that keeps this series relevant while Valve sleeps. Buy this game.

Aside from gameplay, I must note that if you are on Linux there are some performance issues. I'm happy that there is a native linux version of this game, but every level from Lambda Core forwards gave me massive frame drops during particle-intense scenes, even when I turned my settings all the way down. Also I experienced about 10 CTDs during my playthrough. Hopefully they can get this port ironed out to parity with the windows version with time. For reference, my specs are: Arch, kernel 5.12.9, GTX 1080, R5 3600, 16 GB RAM. Issues were persistent on both GNOME w/ wayland and BSPWM w/ Xorg

This game gets a bad rap for being a package delivery simulator and having cheesy names/dialogue, and while those complaints can be true they paint an incomplete picture. Death stranding is a thoughtful, well-written, engaging, and atmospheric game that touches on many gripping themes relating to death, family, connection, life, and love. The gameplay consists of sightseeing beautiful landscapes, connecting people, stealthily avoiding or fighting rogue elements, and building up the world for the benefit of yourself and other players, all the while taking in this surreal world and learning its stories. It's a really fantastic experience and if you can get over the fact that not all games have to be high speed ultra-violent shooters there's a lot here to enjoy. Not gonna be for everybody but I recommend giving it a chance.
(also the soundtrack is 10/10)

An absolute classic worth playing to this day. If you are a fan of Fallout or RPGs in general it is a must play. There is a bit of a learning curve to the isometric play-style but once you get accustomed to it you're met with a brilliant game with memorable characters, interesting plot-lines, a dark sense of humor, and an engaging/well written main story. Absolutely worth playing through it out of the box, but mods like Fallout Fixt can help with some of the notorious bugs and glitches that come with playing a game from 1997.

This is an intriguing, humorous, and sometimes dark game with amazing writing and an engaging story. The main story is fairly short but is high-quality, with well-scripted dialogue and some of the best light puzzle gameplay in any game. Simple, short, and sweet, this game is easy to recommend.

A worthy successor to the Doom moniker, an absolute blast of a game. High octane, a large variety of guns, nostalgic arena-style levels, and extremely satisfying combat make this a must have game for FPS fans. If you're on the fence about buying this game, do yourself a favor and pull the trigger
