As good as the first Dying Light game. Play it co-op with a few friends for the ultimate experience.
NOTE: outcomes in the story to depend on your choices as you get close to the end.

My expectations were set accordingly. This game met my expectations precisely.
Artful, chill, short.

Would I recommend it?
Sure (it was free AND I enjoyed it in a weird way).
If you have the space, install it and label it in Steam as "Chill out to this", and then when you need to kill 10 or 15 minutes...It's a one time play thru, then you can uninstall.

This game was a blast to play co-op with friends, and looking forward to Dying Light 2.

Good long term game. Sorry to learn Disney is ditching it.

Well, I spent the time to complete this, and was pretty satisfied. Wasn't spectacular, but provided a few chuckles along the way and a somewhat casual pace, easy to play in 10-20 minute chunks til you got to the next save point. I very much enjoyed the dog companion, especially training him to attack and dig up treasure... once he joined me I don't think he ever left my side. The story was corny and cliche (intentionally) and voice acting was well done. The songs with the oopah loompah type guys got annoying after about the 2nd time, but I toughed through those moments. I do have to be fair to the content and the game that was made.
OK fun. Probably about 8-12 hours of gameplay for this new Bard's Take

Absolutely worthwhile if you do want to go back and play the originals Bard's Tale 1, 2 and 3 as well.
I did play these on C64 back in the day, Bard's Tale was one of my favorite RPG/DnD franchises of all time (others including Wizardry, and Ultima).
This new game was different and ok, but so nice that they included the old school originals as well for when/if the urge hits (though the originals might be a bigger timesink than this new game).
Thanks for reading. Good night, good luck, and game on.
