An honest review for the game:

Pros
- The game has the most beautiful setting out of all the games.
- It felt like a nice open world and you could make choices on what chapter you wanted to play first. (chapters 3-5)
- The game explores so much more lore than the previous games.
- Most puzzles were very fun! They were also a lot more challenging and required good teamwork.
- Level design was enormous and gorgeous.
- Great little easter eggs towards the Netherlands and the voice actors are on point.
- The music is just spot on. The game definitely deserves the great soundtrack tag!

Cons
- The game is sometimes tedious. Some animations take literal minutes. Prime examples are: Going into the skilift, going in the elevator from chapel to the statue, going up and down in the water level. Like seriously, why does it take that long!? It's also unskippable. I get it's because of the ambiance, and the developers want you to witness the beauty of their game. But most of the time there isn't much to look at during the cutscenes. It is copy-pasted areas. They ARE beautiful, BUT also repetitive.
- Another point to add regarding the pacing of the game: sometimes when you finally solved a puzzle, you got the same one again! For example the illusions (portal room) had the same puzzle twice. Also you did the trial (game where you hold the boulder) 4 times. All times not very challenging
- The ending was a little dissapointing and was over before you even knew it.
- Sometimes you got stuck in puzzles, but not because they were too hard, but because the clues were too well hidden. After minutes of searching we finally found them. It was pretty frustrating. Could just be us being blind though.

Don't get me wrong, I love the franchise and I like the game. I also think the developers have done an amazing job involving the community and delaying the game to make sure everything is good. But for me and my friend it genuinly didn't feel like that much of an upgrade from the previous game. Finally, this is my own preference, but what I liked about the previous games is that both players experienced different stories. In this game, it's the same story for both, but just the puzzles that were different. Sometime after playing, one player got a puppet hand attached to him. We were excited to see what it meant. However in the ending the jester just takes it from you? So why all that build up. It seems like wasted potential This makes replayability less enticing.

TL;DR
I 100% recommend this game, but it does not go without its flaws. The game is objectively bigger and better than the previous one. The amtosphere and puzzles are a straight upgrade, however me and my friend preferred the story of We Were Here Together.
