A nice novel. If you have some interest in esports, Korea, or StarCraft, then it's worth reading.
There were some parts that I didn't enjoy so much, but that stems perhaps from the MCs personality (and the Korean gamer stereotype he represents). The end of the novel was also unsatisfying to me. Perhaps had I known this is a prequel, the impact would have been smaller. But overall the game is a gem with nice visuals, sound, and dialogue.

The esports and Korean theme aside, it's a story about pursuing your dreams above all else, knowing full well it doesn't work out for most (but perhaps not appreciating that fact enough). I'd hesitate to call it a coming of age story, but it does offer insights into what makes a life worth having lived, with much more clarity than I'd expect from a vn about playing brood wars 12/7

One caveat: there is an achievement, Jet Set, that should really be called Jett Set. Alas....

Fun game. Updates can only be downloaded through the game launcher.

It's a good way to waste some time. The game is generally fun and diverse. There's probably some depth to it, too, but how much remains to be seen.
Only when you have bad luck in mid and end game it can be fairly frustrating, but perhaps that is also due to lack of experience.
Also, five more seconds during deploy phase would be nice. Make the end of round notifications shorter instead.

The gameplay is exhaustingly boring. Consider watching the story on youtube or grabbing this if it's on sale for small change.

Game is okay, but not that it takes like 500 hours to unlock all operators.

Don't listen to people who bought this game to "cash out". This game is extremely fun, so you'll get your twenty bucks worth entertainment easily — regardless of how the game will develop over the next months.

Previously I've never enjoyed the draft mode in TGCs, but here it's a lot of fun. It's true however that a ladder system is sorely missing. Players in 2018 want to see their progress in some way or another, so I hope that Valve will deliver here. Honestly, I think that they're just experimenting a lot and so rolling out the feature gradually in valve time, but we'll see.

For me, this is the better Dota, as it has all the complexity due the amount of heroes and abilities but without the moba gameplay. Also, you get to fight over three lanes without annoying teammates.

My first impression of IoN is that it's a fun game. It gives me Rocket League vibes in the sense that it has all the elements of a highly competitive game, but still manages to feel extremely casual — which is exactly what I'm looking for.

Currently, the performance is awful. All settings on low and an fps config make it just playable.
The sound (footsteps) is in a poor state, too. And I wish player models were easier to spot, but that's probably just me.

Yet, the beauty of this game is that it gets so many things right! The interface is comprehensive. You can easily swap out weapons and attachements. Item spawns are aplenty. No ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmicks like in Fortnite and Realm Royale. None of that pseudo-realism of PUBG and H1Z1. Movement is part of the skillset and actually fun (although it could be better still). The weapons are all useable, with reasonable recoil.

But one thing to note is that, while the rounds are a lot shorter than those of other BR games (15 minutes max I think), they are not necessarily faster-paced. You can still spend two thirds of the game without encountering someone.

Also, one thing that remains to be seen is whether there's enough depth to this game. The small map and short rounds make strategic positioning a lot less important than in, say, PUBG.
But hey, at least there's a ♥♥♥♥ing practice range from the get-go!

It's good, but also extremely underwhelming.
Honestly, Episode One was probably the best. Put simply, the story starts as a trainwreck, but in a good sense. You just *know* that every choice you make leads you farther away from the good ending. But around Episode Three you start to realize how the ending that you're being forced into will look like, and that you actually have very little say in the matter.
As it stands, the story is enjoyable — if fairly predictable — and the production value is good (some awkward animations, lips not moving, etc.), with gameplay that doesn't suck ♥♥♥.
I picked this up during the summer sale after episode one went free, and I wouldn't recommend it for the full price.

I recommend this game for the €1.30 I spent on it. It took me exactly 90 minutes to play through this game (no choices so little replayability), so if you want you can just refund it afterward. The game is fairly enjoyable, however, and introduces some new characters. The art is different, but after five minutes you're used to it. Quality OST and dialogue as always.
If you've enjoyed Juniper's Knot and especially Dysfunctional Systems 1, and this game is on sale, then go for it.

DDLC! is a fun visual novel. It's quite clever and funny despite its supposed genre. The game warns you that it's not for those of faint heart, and having read a spoiler beforehand I knew exactly what I was getting into. If you're expecting to date cute anime-girls then it might actually be horror, otherwise it's more of a thriller—this is the "The Village" of VNs, basically.

Playing through the game once takes about three hours, but I suppose you can spend a few more hours if you're looking for a complete playthrough.

About reading spoilers beforehand: it does take away some of the surprise. Yet, I wouldn't have played this without hearing about some of the twists first as neither horror nor dating sims are my usual genre. And if you've just heard a few spoilers chances are you only know what you'll figure out quickly yourself anyway.

And afterward, you can join the circlejerk that is just Monika
