Robo Puzzle Smash is a fighting game that uses a variation of the match three concept.

It's well made, very lively, and even has it's own theme song. It has a very Japanese feel with all the bright colours and energy that acompanies a lot of their popular culture.

The game play basics consist of you pitted against AI or another player with the combat consisting of two block grids (one each) where you need to match block colours. Once you add an explosion block to the colour group you've made they clear from your grid causing blocks to appear on the opponents grid messing with their attempts to match and clear blocks. The first to run out of space gets KO'ed and looses. To make things harded they add unmovable obstacle blocks however you can rotate the grid if you need to but it slide all your gems around.

I enjoyed playing it and ended up completing the arcade mode (single player) in 45 minutes on easy scoring me the coveted Voxcube which I can then use to fulfill my most desired wish....there is cake! (you'll have to watch the video or complete it yourselfto get that.) In the arcade mode you play each of the available characters, including the one you choose to play, until you defeat them all. It's a best out of three situation. The game also has local multiplayer and online multiplayer and there is a tournament mode where you can play a tournament with up to 32 players.
