Really good game. Improves on everything from the first game and gives you even more approaches and replayability. Story starts off a bit weird, but in my opinion actually grows into something solid and has it's nice twist here and there. I did enjoy it at the end.

If you liked Dishonored 1, you will love the sequel. Can only recommend.

This is a bad game… well a bad Hitman game rather. Comparing it to other Hitman games, Absolution is far to combat inducing and many changes introduced were removed or weakened in the World of Assassination Trilogy, for good reason.

The story and characters seem so weird, most characters behave like Rednecks, even the ICA just blows ♥♥♥♥ up instead of trying to solve things quietly. And how Diana survived from a gun shot wound into her chest, left bleeding out on the floor, will forever be a mystery…

Gameplay wise… Disguises are somewhat useless, they do help a bit but every other person wearing that disguise will slowly see through it. I get it, Disguises were kinda overpowered in previous games, so it’s ok to attempt to nerf them… but this makes them somewhat redundant.

Also the game is mostly really linear… after around the halfway point Targets just stand still or are moving in a very close area. Doing poison or accident kills becomes impossible with that. The levels are mostly not even really designed to beat them Silently with Suit only. I managed SA/SO in every level of the WoA Trilogy. But here I gave up around 2/3 in. It’s just bad design…

At least is almost bug free… almost. There is one target in a penthouse, however it eventually just stops in a room and stands still. Also you’re supposed to be able to poison her, however she only does the eating action once… at the start of the level as her very first action. I didn’t try it but it seems nearly impossible to get the poison in a timely manner.

I just think it’s a bad Hitman game and as such I cannot recommend it. It has a reason why the WoA trilogy threw most features here overboard or reworked them. And why most story events are seemingly forgotten now.

Now, if these would be anything other than a Hitman game, I might even recommend it. But alas as it stands I cannot.

Only play it you want to experience anything other but a Hitman game.

I skipped over this entry over the years because of the missing features. But gave it a try recently seeing it got free 2 play. Honestly? It’s actually pretty good now…

Lots of features were added over the years for free including burglars, firemen, toddlers etc. yes you can definitely argue that it’s weird some of these took like 10 years to implement. But at least it’s free.

That said I enjoy Sims 4 a lot now. I personally would say it’s like a Sims 2 Plus now. I really enjoy they added the feature that every household around you also progresses. Get kids, get divorced, die by accidents etc Really gives a lot more immersion to the world.

One thing I keep reading is that it’s so expensive to get all expansions… I think you don’t even need all of them. I think only two are really mandatory those being pets and seasons. But even without those the base game has a good amount of content to keep you going for a while. And in the meantime the packs go into sale too for up to -60% from what I’ve seen. Buy the ones you enjoy in a sale then.

So yeah I enjoy Sims 4 a ton now and it reminds me a lot of Sims 2 just improved in many ways. It’s not perfect and again you definitely can criticize why it took so long… but yeah, if you’re a Sims 2 fan I would say give it a try!

It took me 3 tries to get into this game over the years and eventually it clicked. And how!

Honestly, i think this is the best MGS game so far, in terms of gameplay and options you have. That said, you definitely get the feel that Chapter 2 was rushed and content was cut, which is kinda sad, since this could have been a very round closure to the MGS series... like this, while it is still a great game, it feels like not a full closure.

But yeah, in any case, i still can highly recommend this game, definitely grab it in a sale and give it a go!

It's nice to have a demo, but this is basically unplayable. Sure i play on a Steam Deck, not the strongest console ever... but the Deck can handle newer AAA Games at at least 30 fps (Death Stranding, Oblivion Remastered etc.). But even on lowest settings possible, the deck hits barely 30 fps in this demo. Anything higher and it freezes. The performance view shows a whopping 13 GB of memory being used. Sorry, what? Sure WIP but this is basically not optimized at all. If thats what the final game will be... oh boy.

Based on this, a no buy i'm afraid...

I had played it on PlayStation already and went through the entire game again on my SteamDeck. As back on the PlayStation, i just love it. The game is unique in both story and gameplay. It is NOT your typical third person game... here the movement is the actual gameplay. You need to take your time and re-learn movement in here to have fun. If you can't do that or you want to go fast, you won't enjoy it.

On the surface it might seem like a "walking simulator", and i guess thats kinda true, but not in the meaning you know. Here are a lot of different systems and mechanics going on and on top of that are the BTs and Human enemies you have to deal with.

But if you take your time, it might click as much with you as it did with me... and soon you find yourself just wanting to deliver "that one last package" just to take the next order. It's hard to describe, but it is so satisfying.

Anyway, i can only recommend it, it's a game i keep coming back to!

Overall a great game and good sequel, hence the recommendation, however.... i found it too easy.

It's weird, the first game got really difficult in it's last third and even more so in the Road to Gehenna DLC, where it's normal thinking and trying around for a good half an hour per puzzle. But here? Even at the last area it was... easy. Too easy. I get that they probably wanted to reduce the difficulty spike, but this basically resulted in no difficulty curve whatsoever.

The game introduces a new puzzle element with each area, so you start anew everytime, thats okay, but even in the last area it's still the same concept. Other new puzzle elements barely get introduced into these and you never end up with these "every puzzle element included" puzzles like the first game had. I kinda understand why i guess, seeing the amount of them, but still... overall the game is really easy.

Only some of the gold puzzles gave me a real challenge, but about half of them i still solved in minutes. Maybe i am just so used to Talos Principles design and puzzles lol.

I just think it's weird... the first game was definitely hard nearing the end... and now the sequel is too easy, especially when you come from the first game. It's like swapped for some reason.

Anyway, i still recommend it as said, still loved every minute of it and seeing you can actually talk to others now and seeing the outcome of the first games ending, simply great.

Though i did not played the DLC yet, i heard that ups the difficulty again, good! Can't await playing it at some point.

So... is this for you? If you like puzzle games or you played and enjoyed the first game, definitely yes. Despite me thinking it is too easy, maybe it still gives a challenge to you. It is subjective still. Can highly recommend!

This one is difficult… I love the original and I really love this remaster. I would even say this is the definitive edition of Oblivion. Not only is this having a huge graphics upgrade, they also fixed quite a few oversights and bugs from the original. The minor DLCs are properly integrated now, and unfinished locations from the original have been finished and made properly accessible.

Besides mixing a bit Skyrim in to make it smoother. Though staying very faithful to the original. Like there are still major and minor skills, while in the original only major ones contributed to your level, here also minor ones do. However they contribute less and major skills contribute way more to your level, making them still important. Honestly, I think that’s a good change too.

So, there is a good amount of effort here!

That said… the game is somewhat unstable. Even on lower settings just walking through the open world gives a lot of performance issues, mainly from streaming. It is also normal that the game occasionally freezes to load for a moment. The area around Anvil seems really bad, I had two full crashes there just leaving the city. The first crashes in 15 hours of gameplay.

That really needs fixing… if they fix that I can fully say this is the definitive way to play Oblivion. I still recommend it, since despite the technical issues I do have fun… still fixing is really needed!

Still as great as back then! I played the original twice over the years and i went into the remake and, yet again, had a ton of fun!

Though... is it a remake? Or a remaster? Or what is it? Well... i guess it's best described as an Engine port, from the "old" Serious Engine to the "new" Unreal Engine. Was it necessary? Probably not. The old game still holds up very well. Yes, comparing the two, this version does look better, but again... the original didn't look bad either.

So what else is new? Well, besides that the Road to Gehenna DLC is included, a new campaign "In the Beginning" is added, which adds maybe not many puzzles... but for that they're really difficult. "Out of the box" thinking gets a new meaning here. You thought Gehenna was hard? Just you wait... but i still enjoyed the puzzles, if you enjoyed thinking around for like 30-60 Minutes in Road to Gehenna, you will have a lot of fun here too. And i mean that seriously, i had a great time in "In the Beginning"! Really enjoyed it!

Oh and a puzzle editor is now included as well! Didn't used it, but it seemed a ton easier to use than the old method, so hopefully this will get more community puzzles going in the long run.

So is this for you? Well, i would say... it depends. If you're a fan of the original, i would not recommend it for the normal price. Yes "In the Beginning" is nice and the puzzle editor too, but i see... to little else improvement everywhere else. But get it in a Sale for about 50% off, thats a good deal then.

If you have not played the original, but played and enjoyed Talos 2, i would actually say... get it for the normal price actually. It is a good deal for you then. If you're unsure though, best to wait for a Sale too.

But yeah, overall i still recommend it, as the underlying game is still as great as back then and the new Campaign is a lot of fun. Was this version necessary? Maybe not, but it is still great!
