Can recommend, first 5-10hours of playing our comms with a friend was nothing but "What the ♥♥♥♥, how the ♥♥♥♥ and where the ♥♥♥♥", but im happy to say that after that it transformed into just "Get these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ snakes off my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ legs".

For real though, what a beautiful game with a really enjoyable story that had us guessing until the very end of the main story. Personally played this through with one friend and we experienced barely any glitches, at least not ones big enough to effect our overall experience of the game. The only bad thing I can think of to say was that the survival mode seemed to get incredibly easy for us after a very short amount of time, we barely encounter any enemies and since we're building a base our resources are practically unlimited and it just wasn't really doing the trick for us. Would love to see them add more enemies and predators in the survival mode, maybe even add some sort of a "raid" event where if you stay in one place for too long, the tribes attack you with proper force trying to kill you or push you out of their territory.

First impression of the game is a little disappointing, the graphics weren't quite as good as I expected, the game mechanics seem a bit off and a bunch of other small details seemed off.

The first 3hours of the game I spent mainly exploring my ways around the different mechanics and areas, tested a bunch of things and here are the pros and cons based on those 3hours.


Co-op story mode - I've always enjoyed being able to complete a full storyline with a friend, it's just simply amazing. Hopefully the co-op in Far Cry 5 won't be nearly as glitchy as it was in Far Cry 4, atleats so far so good. Right now the thing that disappoints me the most is that you only progress in XP, Weapons and Perks while in a friends co-op. None of the missions or the areas you explore save for your own story.

Large variety of NPC allies you in your disposal, all of them have bring something different to the table giving you a lot of options on how to interact with enemies, how ever I find their movement to look absoultely ridiculous. It looks like an old lady trying to sprint after a hip replacement.

Story it self so far seems pretty much pointless. While in the previous Far Cry games you've played as character with a rich background story, in this one you play as a nameless rookie deputy with basically no ties to the storyline what so ever. I enjoy having a story worth paying attention to in games like this, but this one I feel like wont have my full attention.

Driving/flying - Driving mechanism it self seems to be working fine, however I don't like how hitting a smaller tree/fence etc just simply causes it to vanish into thin air with few crackling sounds, that just makes it feel like they didn't want to go through the trouble of coming up with something better. Also if a friend is standing on the car while youre driving like a maniac, he won't have any trouble staying on top of the car, it's like he's standing still on steady ground. Flying on the ohterhand I quite like, it's easy to learn and easy to control.

Perks - Majority of the perks I find extremely useful, I wasn't really a fan of the whole "Craft your way to the top" system they've had in previous games. I prefer to be able to choose what perks I want to open and in what order rather than running after a pig just to get another weapon holster open.


Do I recommend the game? Yes. You can throw shovels at people. That's all you need to know.

Definitely a big yes from me. In general the game looks amazing, feels amazing, is amazing and has tons of content in it. The mainstory alone has hours and hours of missions to do, the difficulties are perfectly set up in my personal opinion with the enemies offering a challenge even with the regular difficulty (Played regular on Open Beta and Advanced after launch)

Pro's and con's from me

Pro's :
+ Long mainstory
+ Cutscenes are extreamly well made, which definitely makes them interesting and worth watching
+ Graphics
+ Amazing background for the story
+ Missions offer a lot of variety and there is a lot of different ways to do them
+ Co-op campaign
+ Realistic bulletdrop
+ Skill tree has some extreamly useful skills

Cons :
- Driving glitching out like hell occasionally
- Crashing into a rock causes your characther to fly hundereds of meters in air
- Flying on helicopters
- Glitches with missions while playing co-op (Happens rarely, either one or more of the guys in the same game are able to only join the mission as assistance > completing the mission wont complete it for them)
- A number of stuck spots, mainly by cliff's and containors that are placed too close to a wall etc.


Overall the game is definitely worth the money, been playing co-op for 34hours (Only doing missions while in co-op with a friend) and we have 95 main missions completed which takes us to total of 89% of the main storyline done.

4v4 pvp ;

It's been a long ass time since I personally enjoyed a pvp multiplayer this much, granted theres a lot to improve, but it's still a great way to spend time with friends & alone.

The biggest issue with the pvp how ever is the massive size of some maps theyve chosen, maps such as Pilgrimretreat, Deforestation & Farm town could basically be half the size and still easily pass for a big map. Another thing I find annoying and disfunctional is the team balance system. Theres been numerous times when i've personally been stuck with 3teammates that are all under level 35 while the enemy team has 4players who are ranged between prestige 5 to prestige 10, sure theres a lot of players who say having high level doesn't mean they're skilled or that having low level doesn't mean that they're bad, but when its a gap that massive the experience alone overruns the skill to aim good.

Dont get me wrong here, I love the game, its a great game to play with friends and to spend tons of time on. Still, I have to say I dont recommend this game. The game is poorly coded in all honesty, the way the game updates is absolute trash, I personally have to verify integrity of game cache every single time I feel like playing it, reinstalling hasnt done anything, trying to install it on a different harddrive hasnt done anything. If I dont verify my game cache, I cant join otherpeoples games for that everything is delayed and cant interract with objects, that is if I dont lose connection to the host every 10seconds.

Another reason why I dislike the game is that half of the content is locked behind tons of DLC's that all together costs a ridiculous amount of money, especially when considering this game is half a year from its 4year anniversary.

But again, I still love playing the game when ever it decides to work. Its fun and entertaining, even more so with friends to play it with, just has a ♥♥♥♥ load of bugs in it.

Suprisingly good game but wouldnt recomend it for that its really short.
