One evening I decided to stay up all night to see what would happen.
Instead of going to bed on time, I drank a coffee after dinner then watched four bullbar movies.
It was great, but then the sun came up and I saw that there's nothing separating days but sleep.
Though days have cycles and seasons have cycles, time is not a cycle for us, just a straight line.
One that doesn't continue forever, but that's alright 'cause my routine helps me forget it.
Anyhow, I've been taking a lot comfort lately in the second Law of Thermodynamics.

A place of undeniable good in the world.
And now that they're gone, well, I actually still have to take care of the house.
I don't know if I'll ever find that again.
Or if I'll ever feel alright again.
I don't know.
