Spiral Knights, even if it's one of those games that's long old and isn't up to date, is still an enjoyable game to just mindlessly grind in. It's a good game to just play around in, exploring the clock works for some gold and rare materials just to slowly upgrade your stuff. Once you get past the thresh hold of being stuck at around tier 2-3 items, the game becomes allot more accessible to you so you can fully explore the clock work.

Edit in 2017: Even after over 5 years, I still come back to this game finding something enjoyable to do. It really does hold up well thanks to Gray Haven's maintaining the servers and adding in some small minor update patches and constantly rotating the special game events in and out to keep the game interactive.

Edit in 2020: This game brings me great nostalgia. I may not play it as often, but I've kept my fond memories of this game and still think of it on occasion. I will never get tired of the game's cutesy yet sharp aesthetic.
