Terraria is a well rounded exploration game that has a strong focus on progression and boss fighting. This is a game that you can get lost in for thousands of hours and still discover something new, with developers that are consistently releasing updates with high quality new content.

While jokingly compared to Minecraft, i feel that it has a better wealth of content while trading off building. The decision between them should not be "which is better" but "what do i want to do" as neither game is better outright.

Terraria has large worlds where you get to build houses, prisons, holes or even entire themed villages for NPCs that will come and move in to sell you things. This can be vital to progressing the game and finding more and more information about the world itself, while not as lore rich as other games this gem sure has a lot of hidden story.

The bosses all feel unique and fun, with a challenging twist and a masterfully designed range of difficulties for anyone, while holding a unique playstyle for everyone to use against the bosses. This game is limited only by you and your interpretations.

A wonderful game from wonderful developers, a personal 10/10 reccomendation.
