My name is Ryan, known as Arbiter (or Thel). I have been on the Steam Network now for 7 years and in that time I have pretty much done, seen and heard it all. I have somehow made it through with my dignity intact. (Sanity is a completely different matter.)

Whilst you are here, I ask only two things of you. Respect and Common Decency. It's not a difficult thing to do. I am not a person who takes kindly to threats, and I rarely suffer a fool unless it is absolutely necessary (or amusing).

People who get on my bad side have a nasty habit of staying there, so please consider this your one and only warning. You will be removed if you become an issue for me.

I don't care who you are, or what you do. You are not more important or more worth my time than anyone else because you happen to own a server, or have more experience and knowledge in a matter than someone else. Everyone is treated equally -- So get the hell of your pedestal.

As of 2019, I don't use Steam Chat as much as I used to. You can still message me there, However If you're looking for a higher chance of response, then shoot me a message on my discord. I often appear offline, but I see most messages. (Arbiter #0117). Yes the number is deliberate.


I chose the name "Arbiter" because of it's meaning. - Judge - I am the Judge of my own actions and in command of my own destiny. It also happens to be the name of my favourite character from the best game ever made. Thel 'Vadamee, the Arbiter from Halo 2, has always fascinated and inspired me. It was originally going to be a short term thing, but life got busy...and I grew comfortable with it, so it stuck, and here I am today.

(These people are dear to me...If you cross or wrong any of them, you had better have a damn good reason.)

Vortex is special to me, he's been there for me when things have been rough, he's sat and listened through all of my terrible stories and lore and just given me the escape from the world that I need. He's done more for me in the last few years than most people have done in decades, and for that he has my undying love and respect.

Ian, Callum, is my best friend. I've known him now for nearly 5 years and in that time I've watched him grow and develop into something amazing. His creativity knows no bounds, and no matter how dark things get for me, he has the adorably wonderful ability to make me laugh and smile. We also game together, which is an experience you need to try to believe. <3

Gaben, [Data-Redacted], has been in my online world now for just as long as anyone else. His entire get-up is random, somewhat sexually driven and fruit obsessed. He's capable of being the most annoying thing since the mosquito, but he's got a pure heart, and is genuinely a good friend when it comes down to it. His specialties are: Melons, Memes, Sexual Innuendos and TTT.

Iosif isn't a person, he's an experience. One of the best administrators I have ever had the pleasure of working with, a map maker, a PAC veteran, and addon developer. He's got all the things you need for a good time in any game. He's also incredibly kind, funny and loves his friends. Everything I admire in a person really. Love you Ios <3

This old cat has been in an out of my world since I joined steam all those years ago. He was the first server owner I ever met and got to know, not just on the User/Owner level, but as a person.
