Trading Tips:

* How to check if the user is legit:
1. Click on the traders profile, and check his games/inventory/level/comments and if it any of the numbers is low, the things are suspicious. if the profile is set on private, that is really suspicious. check the comments, when they are posted. if they are all posted on the same day. that means that they are faked.

2. Go to http://steamrep.com and paste the profile of the trader, this will show you the status of the profile, if the person is a scammer, Valve Anti Cheat banned and how many friends are banned. also this will show you info like steam id.

3. Google the Steam ID, sometimes the steamrep wont show you if the person is a scammer, but google will show you where websites where the id is mentioned. check forum sites in the results, and you will see if someone says something about the person.

* If the trader is offering too much, that is a sign of suspicion. (like some new AAA game(big title) for some old game)

* Value of the game:
Value of a game depends on a few things. Some are easy to spot, some are hard.
1. How much was the price of the game on sale? (There are sites to check). Traders usually look at the sale price when trading and not the full price.

2. Was this game in a bundle? (There are sites to check). If yes, the bundles are cheap, so the games lost a lot of their value, even if they are gifts.

3. Do people like this game? Some games are expensive, but if nobody likes/wants them, that drops their price a lot.
