An absolutely fantastic metroidvania. The combat and movement feel great, with the controls being some of the most responsive and snappy I've had the pleasure of experiencing in recent years. The combat is focused almost entirely on the boss fights. The bosses offer a varying level of challenge, but never feel unfair as the toolset given to you by the game grants you plenty of options to manoeuvre around them.

The world is fun to explore, and has a decent amount of content. Many, many secrets, collectibles and optional boss fights to be found. That said, the runtime of the game is a bit short (my first playthrough was about 7 hours with nearly full completion of the map), but additional difficulty modes unlocked after the first playthrough certainly bring a decent bit of replayability for those seeking a proper challenge.

All in all, would definitely recommend the game to any fan of the metroidvania genre.
