It's a clicker game, with extremely simple mechanics and storylines with so many characters from mixed sources that it could be taken from the notes of a homebrew DM's custom campaign. Yet, as my hours played suggest, I'm fascinated by it. Completing quests and collecting new characters from monthly (and sometimes weekly) events is an oddly fun time. Plus, the devs are constantly adding new content, and it's only a matter of time until we get some Vox Machina characters in the roster
