I only played the demo, but I enjoyed it so much that I bought the full game the moment it was released. It is a fantastic platformer.

Cute game! Postgame set of tools was nice to find all unfinished friend quests and unbroken items.

Played on the Steam Deck: 60 FPS target with some reasonable TDP limit

Minor issues related to gamepad layout: weapon button default is not comfortable and after rebind you have to share interaction action button which is suboptimal.

Worse than Expeditions, but still decent. I wish the physics or tire pressure mechanics from Expeditions were backported into this game, or that they’d at least focused on graphical improvements.

It’s also worth noting that MacOS support has been abandoned, so you’re forced to play through CrossOver now. They also dropped the Nintendo Switch version and save transfers; I lost 60–80 hours of progress and had to restart the campaign from the beginning.

They should have followed the Euro Truck Simulator approach: consistently updating the engine and revisiting base game content to improve it over time.

P.S. I like Expeditions way more.

If I could, I would leave a neutral review.

The game just didn't click with me. The mechanics weren't engaging, and neither was the story. I never felt the urge to return to the game.

On the positive side, the in-game UI developer did a great job.

Visually stunning game. Hard to believe it was made 10 years ago. Enjoyed every second of it.

The only negative is EA launcher that prevents game from running on MacOS and sometimes the game fails to to start on the Steam Deck.

Runs great on the Steam Deck: 60FPS, TDP 8W

Short game with time trials in mind (which is hard on the Steam Deck), but i really enjoyed my casual time there. Soundtrack is EPIC

This game is going to be a legendary one. Art style is top-notch. Movement feels awesome. Haptics, music, characters, lore—everything just clicks.

Steam Deck – rumble is missing. Developers didn't even care to reply about reported bug (even though it's game core functionality that affects whole handheld platform + any other devices that are forced to use SteamInput)

MacOS – memory is leaking and game start to stutter after 1-2 hours of gameplay. Also by default game is started with OpenGL renderer which brings sub 30 FPS performance (and you have to manually switch to Vulkan to get decent performance)

UPD.: Last patch broken gyro aiming from Steam Input for in-game controller assignments approach on the top of mentioned above

Art style, music and sound effects are great. I'm having pure fun with this game.

My movement is not that precise, but I enjoy moments where I am able to get momentum and pull out some tricks. I haven't even had that feeling in games like Mario Odyssey.

If you can't decide, just try the free demo. This game is a hidden gem.

Obviously there are some frustrations here and there, also some difficulty spikes, but they're minor things to me.

The game simply hasn't aged well.

Getting all the various endings is kind of pointless and not fun. You have to keep track of all the conditional branches of the previous endings in your head to avoid getting blocked by them a second time. Many design choices or in-game jokes are clearly made to cover the game's initial low budget, which isn't bad in general, but the game makes many ironic references to other elements of the gaming world, which has since noticeably evolved.

(I never played this game before 2025)
(I would leave a neutral review if that were an option)
