You'll never see me coming, now at 4k120fps

A friend convinced me to buy this game. Swiftly proceeded to smash them in the next 5 out of 6 games.

Classic engine builder. I like to start by getting 3 birds/2 food if the birds are cheap enough, and the cheap birds tend to have some of the best abilities. Action economy is the most important thing in this game, which is why crows and ravens are overpowered (trade 1 egg for 2 food/2 cards), so if I ever see one, I'll sac an action to pick it up if I can because it essentially means free turns.

Had plenty of games where I basically won by playing only cheap birds until the last round. Such is the power of the engine build.

Great little game that has its own version of simple assembly language programming. I feel that the assembly language can be very limiting at times (only 15 lines allowed), and I'm used to using way more than 2 registers (only one of which can be directly accessed) in real assembly programming, so it's pretty challenging. But, it's challenging in a pretty fun way, and the way the computing nodes work mean that you can use other nodes as extra registers, caches or for more complex architectural things like pipelining (instruction-level parallel processing) or a multiprocessor system (albeit a very limited one).

Game is pretty short, but still worth the money in my opinion.

I've put in over 1000 hours into Left 4 Dead 2 since I got it a couple of years ago. Compared to that, this requires a lot more skill aiming-wise imo - with L4D2 you can get through campaigns pretty easily without going for headshots, even on Realism Expert. Here, on the other hand, you really do need to go for headshots. I have to try a lot harder in that regard.

On the other hand, the Special Infected added a lot more variety in enemies and tactics that I feel this game is lacking. Plus, many of the weapons in this game are just crap - submachine guns are pretty useless, and so are most of the pistols (the weapon you'll probably need to pull out in an oh-crap moment). I've been mainly sticking to the Kar98k, shotgun and revolver as a result. It'd be nice if the weapons could be more balanced.

Bonus: I get to play using L4D characters. I really like this for whatever reason.

Started playing this after sinking hundreds of hours into Left 4 Dead 2.

Still suck at this game but still plenty of fun. It's improved my aiming quite a bit as well.

It's been like 5 years since this came out, but it still has a lot of replayability, especially with friends and custom campaigns. Bots suck and waste all the meds and kits (but what did you expect).

Wasted over a month of my life on this game, 10/10 would recommend (with friends)
