This was my main account until 2007 or 2008 but then I somehow forgot about this account and I made a new one after my year overseas and after my other account was on VACation for hosting modded CoD 6 lobbies. In 2015 this account started to become my main again and by now I switched completely.

For me to remember and since I think it is an interesting story I will share it with you.

Back when I was in elementary school my best friend showed me Counter-Strike. His sister gave it to him (I think she got it from her boyfriend) and we would play it every Wednesday and Sunday (Our parents arranged set days on which we would play together because we lived about 20km apart.)

I don't know how, but somehow he found out that 1.6 would release on Steam. We weren't part of the CS Community at all, we only played offline - 2 vs. Bots( I know, hardcore, but we were young and we would get rekt soo hard if we played online), that is why I still don't know how he found out about 1.6, but he did.

When 1.6 was released I couldn't create an account because I had no Internet. I was only able to activate it two days later because my parents didn't want to drive me to my friend on a non-set "play day". When we tried to register my account the next problem came... I didn't have an email address. But luckily his sister's boyfriend allowed me to use his second address, with the name "clown0rd" and I kept that nick for a long time. I still don't know what it means but I just said it stood for ClownLord because he was a funny guy and that email was probably taken.

For over a year we nearly only played 1.6 (That sounds bad... we only played about 4 hours a week, since back in the day you would go outside and play soccer, be mischievous or just hang out with friends and not play in front of your computer/TV the whole day! xD)

2005 San Andreas was released and we would play it constantly. We had it on PS2 and PC so we often played it co-op on PS2. After this game, we didn´t play that much anymore because we went to different high schools and we got new friends.

2007 or 2008 I started playing CoD 4 and I kind of forgot CS (Today I regret it...all these hours I wasted on playing CoD, with all CoD's together I must have had 3000-4000 hours).

Later I went overseas for a year and started playing Fallout 3, my favorite single player game ever.

When I came back to Germany I started playing CoD 6 and I really enjoyed it, besides the op noobtubes and OMA. I played it until 2011-2012.

Then I started playing sa:mp a San Andreas Multiplayer which a classmate showed to me. I met a lot of great people and even friends and one of them brought me back to CS, this time it was Source. I know, that game was already 8 years old but I still hadn´t played it actively before and I had a really hard time getting into it. I played CSS and sa:mp a lot, more than I probably should have.

Later that year I switched to CSGO, but I didn´t really like it because it was kind of buggy and unbalanced so it took a few months until it was playable, in my opinion, but then I fully switched to GO and I still play it.

Edit: 2018 and I'm still playing this shitty game :'D

Steam Datagram Relay (SDR) is a feature in CS:GO for connecting to the official matchmaking dedicated servers using the relay connection (like proxy) from Valve servers, it replaces the normal UDP/TDP connection method. However this feature is still new, b
