We are working on the final steps towards the first run of the new WeB™ server, but starting up is only half the battle. We all have bills to pay, mouths to feed, and asses to clean, and every $1 helps to keep WeB alive.

It seems that our server hoster has closed down, as it was a free server.. the only way we could get another one going is if people donate to the group.

If anyone does want to donate to have another WeB server up, the donate button is still on the MOTD page from the link on the right!

These are the new rules for the steampunk battle, with some suggestions from Resistance. They are as follows:

[.:WeB:.] 1st annual Steampunk Battle contest rules <Updated 4-10-14>
Tanks have 4 classes: Heavy, Medium, Light, and Scout.

Jeeps are also allowed, but in limited quantities, mostly to bring medical supplies and armor.

No aimbots are allowed! All shooting must be hand aimed! Think of this like an alternate 1850!

Heavy class:

•Must weigh 70 tons. Maximum is 150 tons.
•Armor can go up to 200mm, otherwise it's really fucking rediculous.
•Preferably extreme torque and little speed, very little mobility is countered by extreme armor.
•If tank goes more than 12mph, it is disqualified and must be tweaked.
•Can have as many as 5 different guns, if it's reasonable for the size.
•Sponsons are reccomended as they are better at containing huge guns, but turrets are fine, too.

Medium class:

•Must weigh 25-69 tons
•Maximum armor thickness is 100mm
•Meant for front line storming and flanking.
•Must go less than 35mph
•Thick armor, but not enough to overbear the tank.
•Guns that can take down another medium, like the new short cannons or mortars.
•Remember their role when building it! These are fairly specialized tanks!

Light class:

•Must weigh 15-24 tons
•Must go less than 50mph
•Maximum armor thickness is 50mm
•Meant for staying back and giving fire support to heavies, and to watch for scout tanks.
•A turret is reccomended, but sponsons are fine, too. Keep in mind where they're shooting.
•Decent armor
•Also includes APCs and troop carriers.

Scout class:

•Must weigh under 15 tons
•Maximum armor thickness is 15mm
•Tuned for fast speed and light armor.
•Can go any speed, but preferably at least 65
•Meant to look for enemy positions and strategies, and outrunning fire instead of facing it.
•>These tanks aren't that vital!<

Jeeps:

•Can weigh anything, and go any speed, but keep in mind that it's going to need to get supplies there and back fast.
•Please don't use too much armor, keep it like a real jeep.
•A single 7.5mm MG, 12.5mm MG, or 20mm HMG is allowed. Must not be commandeered by driver.
•Storage space for supplies

This contest will take place on Saturday, April 19th. It will start around 5:00PM EST.

Remember, that is >>EST<<, scale timezones accordingly!

Also remember that this is a steampunk challenge, and the decor of your vehicle must be appropriate. If you would like
any addons added, you may ask for my approval. They may or may not be added.

If you have an opposition to the rules or would like a change, you may ask me. If it's not too rediculous, it may well be added.

Hello, fellow WeB players. We are calling all who can to join us on Saturday, April 19th to have a (hopefully) massive battle in the steampunk theme! The rules are detailed below. Any questions are welcomed and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Hello, all. This message is promoting that inactive builders rejoin WeB and that active builders reccomend their friends here. We will tolerate you best we can, but the rules still apply even to admin's friends.

Admins: You have the right to promote your friend to ONLY to player if he/she has ACF, Sprops, and Wiremod.

Normal users: Tell us if you were a higher rank before and we will promote you to regular and only to regular. If you whine about being a higher rank you will be demoted back to guest.
