The servers are going to go down tomorrow for the greater part of the day because I'm moving the server's location. It should be back up by the end of the day at the latest.

#1 Server in Atlanta!

According to game-monitor.com, we host not just the #1 server in Atlanta, but the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th leading L4D2 servers in Atlanta! Thanks everyone for playing!

Also, you may notice that there's not a POTW this week; I really can't make up my mind who would get it.

Yeah, kinda self-explanatory. I've seen him play on the servers more than any other player this week, so he gets the award.

I would also like to congratulate marshmallow, if he ever gets or reads this, for amassing a massive score of 786 on server 5, the most of any other player to date on the servers. Check out the server web site for more details.

Server names

Hi everyone,

For some reason, the servers, especially servers 1 and 3, keep segfaulting and restarting. When this happens, the hostname on the server defaults back to "Vanilla". Don't worry about this, if you see this on one of the group servers, it's just that I haven't gotten back to updating the hostname on the server to what it properly should be.

Also, if anyone actually knows how to debug segfaults like this, then I would gladly like to enlist your help through server adminship!

Congrats Necuros! I've seen you on our servers more than anyone else so far, so you get player of the week.

In the future, I'll choose players that have high scores on the server and/or players that I've seen play a lot here.

Hi everyone! Welcome to Vanilla Servers! We currently have 5 public L4D2 servers running at any given moment.

If interest develops (or if someone just wants to message me), I can set up a private server just for group members.

Also, if interest ever develops, we can start a clan server.

Finally, I'm looking for trustworthy admins of the current servers. There really isn't much to it; merely watching for major errors, cheaters, or server hogs.
