What I mean is the recycling cost yes. I think it's a more fair to base prices off of that instead of market value. Because otherwise the other person profits massively while the other gets a rip off.

What's this got to do with me? Ask questions in Steam. They have a support service for this, ask them about the difference between the price of recycling and the price on the Steam market. I am a simple merchant, based on prices and Steam rules. If you don't like the Steam Trading platform and these terms, no one forces you to use it. This is your choice and your decision, you can accept them or not use the Steam.
