Greetings, it's been a while...

In case you haven't heard, our sister site bazaar.tf is shutting down :meatytears:

In addition, backpack.tf has been blocking our bot for a few months now. My guess is our Deals feature would make their Premium offering less valuable. :meatytears:

Basically there's no sites left to track! yes, i realize there are some smaller sites around - I may add crawlers for them now that bazaar is not taking that traffic.

I've therefore removed Good Deals, Classifieds, and All Listings from the site. Only the Steam Market Deals and listings remain.

In addition I've adjusted our Alerts[www.trade.tf] to send you alerts when the items you have alerts set for appear on the Steam Market.

i was able to get trade.tf running again by using The Magic of Money (i bought a new server)

there may be a few hiccups as i continue tuning the new installation.

one of the servers these sites share had a hardware failure. unfortunately i am unable to travel to the physical location that houses my servers right now so i cannot fix them :(

Valve says TF2/CS:GO leak nothing to worry about

TF2 source code leaked - potential Remote Code Execution exists

there's been a public leak of 4 year old CS:GO and 2 year old TF2 code.

RCE (remote code execution) allows an attacker to execute any malicious code on your machine remotely. this is pretty much the worst kind of exploit and the leaked source code shows a potential RCE does exist.

it's quite possible that Valve has patched this RCE since the Jungle Inferno update. there's been many bug fix releases that could potentially have fixed the RCE ...

but

TL;DR ... you might want to think twice before playing TF2 until Valve addresses the issue.
