RIP DayZ

I've hosted DayZ for a long time, and the devs just can't seem to make progress toward finishing the game. I'd love to host again if they finish the game, but for now look forward to new things. The DayZ Standalone TXW server will shutdown very soon.

Sorry to those who use my server as a camping grounds, but this is fair warning to pickup your stuff and move it to another server THIS WEEK to be safe.

DayZ Server move

My DayZ host claims the machine my server was on had a motherboard failure, and lost all my data as well for the 3rd or 4th time, and didn't even contact me about it, and was down for 5 days? After multiple requests to support, they finally just gave me a different server and didn't say anything about it, just receive an email with details on provisioned gameserver... This is after many times my service just vanishing and being in an "Unknown" state, and one time they accidentally moved it to London randomly because the box I was on was overloaded and they decided to finally give proper resources to the game.

All in all, the service is very unreliable and they have changed the server IP at least 3 times without warning as well.

The DayZ server has now been moved to a new host permanently. Server details listed as usual at http://texaswastelands.com.

Apologies to anyone who kept a base on my server. Please contact support@texaswastelands.com if you have any questions or comments.
