"Need of victory" - 8th matchweek summary

Semifinals of "1st Talisman: DE Cup" are history. We had two nice games - <SNK>XAN7 vs ettam84 and Bloodwrath vs Zebber.

Matches, as in previous playoff rounds, were playing in BO3 system and it's our pleasure to introduce you our finalists!

<SNK>XAN7 - he was placed in group B and got through group stage only with one loss, against later semifinalist, Zebber. Other group B contestants, Gilgamesch, Lilithburns and Alabresim, had to accept the superiority of XAN in their direct games. In round of 1/16 Pole defeated wicked_loki quite convincingly 2:0, so in quarterfinal he had to face his friend - Ferragamo. Their game was so close and XAN won 2:1! Funny fact is that they were playing in Ferragamos flat, which you can see on this picture - CLICK[s2.ifotos.pl]. In semifinal, as XAN said, he won 2:1 againts ettam84 only thanks to huge luck, but as we all know - fortune favors the better ;) Congratulation XAN!

Bloodwrath - Canadian got to very close group E where he was beaten two times - by Binori and NetDuke. In his other games he beat jkmcluvin and later semifinalist - ettam84. Fortunately, Bloodwrath was able to collect 1 Point in game against Binori and that was enough - he got through to round of 1/16 only thanks to better Small Points difference. In this round, after very close match, he defeated unbeaten so far Poelzi 2:1. In quarterfinal, in fierce battle, he was able to beat Zombiefy 2:1 after which he went to the semifinal. There were no mercy - "Canadian Road Roller" running on high speed just smashed Zebber and won 2:0. Congratulation!

We have also Third Place Playoff between ettam84 and Zebber. Surely, you have huge need of victory in this final chapter, so we are counting on great and fierce, but fair games! We remind you that this matches are playing in BO5 system. Good luck!

We passed quarterfinals. Fortunately, we had very close games this time, without any forfeits!

Again, games were playing in BO3 system and here we have the winners list:

Congratulation! The tournament entered in critical stage! We had very interesting, close games in this matchweek. All matches were finished with 2:1 results! Looks like "the final eight" have very close skills so details and luck play more important role now. Someone had to win, someone had to lose, but no one won with clear dominance. Big thanks to defeated contestants and good luck in semifinals to the winners!

"More emotions!" - 6th matchweek summary

Round of 1/16 is already behind us. Sadly, two games has been forfeited so for this reason 6th matchweek was a surprise for us. You can do better!

We have decided to give one yellow card for no-show in this round. We believe it is the last card in this cup.

For the first time games were playing in BO3 system, which means that the first player who won 2 times, won the entire match. A here is the winners list:

Congratulation ladies and gentlemans! Be proud - you are the best 8 players from the 40! We had also very interesting games in this matchweek. Four matches were finished with 2:1 results (Ferragamo vs Hayabusa, ettam84 vs roman-smit, Bloodwrath vs Poelzi and Zombiefy vs talismanamsilat). The atmosphere had to be tense. Great, close game between ettam84 and roman-smit - just read this description! We have reached the quarterfinals, so we expect tere will be nice, tense and close four games. We want more! Good luck!

Important: Final Screenshot Change

Hi everyone,

Please make sure that you take the final screenshot of the match BEFORE moving onto the Crown of Command; do not do it after you have moved there.

Since todays update, when a character moves onto the Crown of Command, the game automatically goes into the Won Game screen and does not give you the chance to take the required screenshot showing the Strength & Craft.

"Statistics rules!" - 5th matchweek summary

Fifth round is done. It's also the end of the group stage, so the time is right to make some statistics, but now I want to thank all of you for participating in this tournament. Some of you are eliminated. Thank you for your fight and hopefully you are participating in the second cup.

Everything went according to plan in this matchweek, so there was no need to punish any of you. You are still behaving yourselves! ;)

No one has used his wildcard this time. Three players were able to collect bonus point - namsilatalisman, Ferragamo, Bahzur. Thanks to this bonus points Ferragamo is in stage of 1/16! We had very close groups in this tournament. Look at group A - three players were fighting for a second place to the last group matchweek! Very close situation in group D. From the beginning in this group w had very fierce rivalry, but in the end sanityismyvanity lost this fight only by worse Small Points aggregate. Look at group E! There was a true bloodbath - four players were fighting and had real chance for the 1/16 stage! In the end Bloodwrath won a fight for the second place only by better Small Points difference. And group G. In the very last game of this matchweek Zombiefy were able to win his game, so he ripped the second place from demopan only by... 2 Small Points! Very close and interesting games, guys and girls :) Big thanks to you for that.

We are almost reaching the end of this group stage - 4th matchweek is done! Once again you didn't fail and everything is going smoothly. Many thanks to all of you for that.

This time we have no bad news for you :) We know that you are very dissapointed by that, but each and every one of you behaved well, so keep it up!

Two players used wildcards to reschedule their matches, but this games has already been played. Four players were able to collect a Small Point - namsilatalisman, UnrealDelusion, Beejers and vicotnic. It's interesting that, thanks to collected Small Points, namsilatalisman is already in 1/16 stage! So it's worth to try to get this 1 point, even if you are losing. Two more players has been qualified to the next stage of this tournament - wicked_loki, <SNK>XAN7. Congratulations! We have very interesting situation if group C - the battle for the next round will be tough and in upcoming matchweek we have a game between two direct rivals to the second place! This shall be streammed! Everything is possible in group F where three players have good chance for the second place! This group is most fierce and there will be real bloodbath for 1/16 stage! We have to mention about group G. As in case of group F, everything is possible there, three players have a chance for 1st place and there will be no mercy for the opponents. We are looking forward for the next matchweek games!

"Let's make it interesting!" - 3rd matchweek summary

Third round of the group stage is behind us. As in previous summary, we are glad that (almost) all things are going smoothly. Big thanks to all of you :)

First things first, so as always at the beginning, we have some bad news. In this matchweek one player has been awarded a card and sadly it's red one. Following the point 1.3 of the Tournament Rules, the match result has been changed into a forfeit loss. It's first penalty like this in this cup and, like in 2nd matchweek summary, we are hoping this is the last one.

One player used his wildcard, so the game he is participating has to be finished till the end of 4th matchweek. This time the winners were cruel to their opponents. Only one beaten contestant were able to collect more Small Points and reach for bonus point - Gilgamesch. Very surprising situation if group F - after only three games Poelzi has a place in 1/16 cup stage. Fight for the second place in this group is going to be fierce! There is no unbeaten player in group A. For now it seems like this group is most aligned and there will be ruthless fight for 1/16 stage! In every group everything is possible yet. We are looking forward for the next, very interesting matchweek games!

The next matchweek is already a history. We are glad that all things related to scheduling and playing games are going quite smoothly - thanks to (almost) all of you :)

For the good of this tournament, we had to replace some inactive players who didn't even respond to our messages and sadly for them, we have to take their exclusion from the next cup under consideration (point 4.1 from the Tournament Rules). Furthermore, one contestant has been awarded a yellow card. It's first penalty in this cup and we are hoping this is the last one. Justice is justice.

More pleasant matters at last. We want to congratulate to the winners in this second matchweek. Here is the list of these heroes ;)
