Integration with Android devices.

Its not a must be, but for the gaming purposes could be nice if Steam OS will have some integration with Android devices.

How so? If you mean like a Steam Store for android games, that's a bit unlikely. Valve have said they aren't happy with current mobile device performance.

Depends on what the "controller" will run...
if the software that will run the touchscreen is proprietry then NO their won't be any Android intergration possible.

BUT if the software IS opensource then I don't see why an enterprising programmer can't rig up an application to take over the functionality or extend the function of the touch screen.

I ment more like control device by your android phone, or even make additional screen with options that show you various of things. For example temperature, current song, folders explorer etc.

Valve could acctualy leave something like open source for make it esier for programers.

Free will, it's just an idea.

I am going to resurrect this topic and support the concept of some sort of control over the stream box via the steam app, ie have a virtual keyboard on your phone to use for input via the android steam app to control the steam box. I have purchased multiple small form factor htpc keyboards for my steambox, and unfortunately they still haven't found there swing of things in being effective.... I think it would be very very handy and cool to use the android device as an input for typing....
