SteamOS and Emulators now: FS-UAE (Commodore AMIGA)

So after this 500 Gallons of Wine from Italy, it came to my mind to try something else ...
..First I thought mame, but after some thinking I got stuck into this (C) thing, so let these
Arcade Cabinets where they belong...

As you can see in the Link FS-UAE has a Debian Section and especially a build for SteamOS (or Linux with Steam) .. I tried that and to my luck all dependency Problems were gone ...

There is not much to say .. It runs near Perfect for a Development Release ..

- You can easily add your AMIGA Games and Demos to the SteamOS-Client with one
shell line fs-uae binary + fs-uae-configuration file ....
- FS-UAE is a port of WinUAE to the other World
- I saw something like PPC Emulation, so lets get starting a bit nervous: OS4 possibility?...
- FS-UAE is compatible with the SteamOS Compositor
- Also the Steam-Overlay is working like a charm
- Gamepad is there with no Problems
- FS-UAE has nice Screen-Auto-Fitting functions, but see for yourself ...
- Jit-Compiler is working with a little trick, I tested this shortly ...

if there is some time I will give you a closer look of what I done and will do to get/got this running ...

Hope so, It`s one day work by now ... I am at the moment uploading some more Videos .. By now I can say the FS-UAE is some sort of well thought and programmed ...

not exactly, but thanks anyway I will take a look but for now it`s over for me. Emulation is a veeery big One, you have to focus. First is AMIGA, second would be SEGA Saturn for my flavour...

Yes, FS-UAE works with PPC / OS4 :) You need the qemu-uae.so plugin for PPC support. I have a SteamOS build available at http://fs-uae.net/plugins.

...Hello; we already shared some words on your FS-UAE presence ... I left the Emulation thingy a bit, cause I am willing to get this WIne/CrossOver Subject to a meanfull conclusion ... I spend some Days with FS-UAE and the integration & behaviour of FS-UAE is quite good ... With the OS4 tries I had some certain Problems with proper Sound .. Could be that it is also some sort of this Pulse/Alsa Disaster .. I will go further when there is time and motivation ... Demos and Games (ECS/AGA).. are working quite well and the integration in the Big-Picture Menu is simple and well working ...
