Thanks jvert! I'm gonna make a post to the subreddit as there are some very curious people. It's currently being discussed at http://reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/48bliw/vive_preorder_has_started_what_is_the_best_vr
No offence here, but you guys are slower than the second coming of Christ
If you want people to start using SteamOS, wouldn't it make more sense to develop everything for SteamOS first? I understand there's more users/money with Windows but wouldn't SteamOS getting first priority give people the nudge you want to use your product? Honestly, if I worked on any of the Steam Machines, I wouldn't be too happy about SteamOS always having to sit at the back of the bus
Awesome! Glad to hear!
You and I, as Linux/SteamOS fans will buy. But will every or even half the Windows fanboys switch? Or will they use it as an excuse to ditch Steam and use competitor hardware that works on their setup? I know what most my Windows friends will do, and they're not coming to our camp just yet. I really wish we had it as well but I can understand Valve's priorities.
Thanks for the update, hope its not too long.
Yea, I made one in General before realising it should be in here. I have deleted it, appologies to the couple of people who responded there.
