Hello again and as you noticed I made a big Backtrack.
I for myself was dissatisfied with Valves attempt to conquer Linux on the Gaming way...!
So if you are ready for something different in the Linux World, feel free again to take a look what I have found!

How does this handle driver updates? System updates? Automatically? Is it controllable by a gamepad only, after installation? Steam Controller and gamepad default support without need of any other programs? From what I can tell, this is also a Live USB/CD distribution. Ok don't think I would be happy with the speed and usability. Your forum post links to the editor for the post, and not the thread itself.

No, this is standstill, more as a Firmware from a Bluray Player or OS-Gaming-Console...begin with a simple Install of Porteus 3.1 ...this Slackware-Variant is absolute Modular...amazing...you can really make what you want....
No it is not controllable with a gamepad only ... could do that, later...for Steam-Controller...

No, this is only testing stuff for myself and interested people...
