Regular Guns of Icarus Online Events!
A couple of us have been talking about hosting weekly or perhaps fortnightly GoI Online events outside of our usual events schedule.

Right now we're playing at 20:00 (8:00pm) UTC Mondays and 23:59 (11:59pm) UTC Thursdays, but alternative suggestions are welcome.

With Steam Workshop support now working in Linux, I've put together a collection to keep track of community members' creations. If you make something, let me know and I'll add it.

I'd be interested!
Would this be on weekends?

Nemoder and I were talking about maybe Tuesday/Friday (UTC), but other suggestions are welcome :D

Whatever is convenient for you guys though.

How about we do a test run starting 5am UTC Tuesday and see how many SLUGS we can get. We can try again on Friday.
I wont be able to attend tonight, sorry =(
But I can make it this Friday and next Tuesday!

Had a good few hours' play with Nemoder, Tele42, Snardman and PureNasher.
Also, this tar cloud totally looked like a sheep.

This does sound like a great idea, the game is great and a lot of fun with a good bunch of people. I just got to find some time as I've just moved and am still organizing stuff. The idea is a +1 :)

Great to hear from you! Hope things settle down and you find some time. It'd be great to get some games in ^_^

We had a fun couple of games with Nemoder, Snardman and CaspianSeaMonster (whose in-game nick I forget).

Filling up games was tricky though. We're going to try pushing this ahead by a few of hours, aiming for 2am UTC this coming Tuesday.

We got a few good matches in today with at least 8 people (Nemoder, Snardman, CaspianSeaMonster, HadBabits, LinuxMint, Aoko, Salamanderrake and myself). We managed to play several 3v3 matches which was fun.

The slightly earlier start seemed to help with getting matches together (even if we were a little later than 2am UTC). Let's continue to aim for that this Thursday and see how things go.

We also have a "weekend" event following the upcoming SteamLUG Cast recording on Fruday UTC, so don't forget about that too. We'll probably start playing as soon as the cast ends rather than when the event time says ^_^

Last night was a blast!

Had a fantastic turnout for the weekend event today. I don't want to admit how many hours we've been playing for, but it's approaching two digits :D

Great fun ;), only wish I could have stayed longer. Need slightly ealier times for me.

People are always welcome to start playing beforehand or outside of events (there are a bunch of us who're usually happy to play whenever if you want to ask around in IRC)!

Today's event was great. We had maybe 20 people all up and we played for 12 hours as people joining late filled in for others who were leaving. We peaked at maybe 12 concurrent players, I think, and everybody seemed to have fun :D
