Wish me luck/goodbye for now.
Hi guys, just letting you know that I'll be disappearing pretty much completely for a good long while.

For reasons outside of my control and that I wont go into I'm on the verge of ending up homeless, you may have noticed that I've been less and less involved in gaming and chatting almost completely stopped gaming for some time and stopped tuning into the cast when I used to join every time. But as I said, things have gone from not that good to very bad quite suddenly. I'll try to log in with the old netbook from somewhere once a week or so, but only to let you know I'm still alive.

I've loved playing with you guys, chatting in the IRC room and the LUG cast, hope I can rejoin the game soon. Wish me luck.

I wish the very best for you, and I hope you'll be able to sort it out eventually.

It is always sad to see a fellow active SLUG'er leave :(

Again, good luck with overcoming your problems.

That's sad news indead. In addition to being unpleasant and awkward, housing uncertainty is very stressful. I hope that things improve for you and that you're able to get through with a positive outlook.

Good luck and best wishes for the future.

Man, sorry to hear this. I hope things pick up for you and that you're soon settled and free to game again.

Still alive, couldn't sleep, gonna find out some stuff come Friday morning, trying to not have to sell off anything my dad left me, even if I did it'd at most be about a grand for the things that are actually worth something that I've refused to sell off for sentimental reasons.

totaly understandable.

Just letting you guys know I'm still alive, still stuck in a shitty position, but have found a "second wind" of sorts in finally going back into politics, as having people I know I can actually count on around has helped my morale considerably, we even managed to get the city to raise it's minimum wage by referendum, so I finally have something to feel good about.

Still wont be around to game any time soon, since I don't have anything that can game anyways, only my old Atom n270 netbook around, or an internet connection of my own, but things may finally start turning around for me soon.

Glad to hear you're getting by!

Still trying to get things sorted, got something somewhat more capable of light gaming I picked up from the trash heap and plugged my old drive in and got booted up and was at least finally able to get around to finishing Shadowrun Returns.

No internet of my own however, still have to use the sketchy public wifi or better, a live linux environment on one of the faster boxes at the local community college when I need more time online/need something more secure, though I think they're starting to catch on that I'm not a student there... Probably not helping me any that instead of just using their Windows boxes I'm commandeering them with Mint...

As side question thoguh, can any of you help me out obtaining any Shadowrun user made campaigns? I haven't found a way to download them directly off of the Steam site short of grabbing the external enclosure and seeing if my install will boot the uni comps, which I'm fairly certain will annoy them much more then me booting off a live USB. I noticed many of the campaigns are available on a British mod site called Nexus, but apparently it's a paywalled site, and I've currently got no money to spend on gaming for the same mods that are available for free on Steam.
