2 years ago, Warner Bros discreetly directed Facepunch, the entity behind Garry's Mod, to prohibit the HogwartsRP gamemode, marking it as the sole "blacklisted gamemode" and presently excluding related servers from the master server list in Garry's Mod.

Given that Garry's Mod thrives on user-generated modifications and content imports from various video game engines, this petition urges Warner Bros to rescind the ban, permitting Garry's Mod to once again host online servers featuring the longtime favorite Harry Potter-related roleplay gamemodes.

Adding to the significance of this petition, it is essential to highlight the vast and dedicated player base of Garry's Mod. With a consistent online presence of 40,000 to 50,000 players at any given time, the game stands as a bustling hub for interactive and collaborative gaming. This vibrant community, however, is currently missing out on the rich experience that the HogwartsRP gamemode provides.

Just as diverse narratives for example NarutoRP or StarWarsRP etc. exist in Garry's Mod, we believe that the HogwartsRP should be afforded the same opportunity. By allowing the HogwartsRP servers to operate, Warner Bros would not only be respecting the creative freedom and diversity that Garry's Mod is renowned for but also recognizing the game's capacity to host a multitude of worlds, each with its unique community and charm.

By signing this petition, we are not just advocating for the return of a beloved gamemode. We are standing for the principles of diversity, creativity, and community that Garry's Mod embodies. Let us unite to ensure that every universe, has a place in the vast universe of Garry's Mod.
