Yesterday, February 1st, 2015, Monty Oum passed away. If this is your first time hearing this, I'm sorry you're finding out here.

None of us like it when we go on stupid, long arguements about what we should and shouldn't be posting. What's worse is that it always leads to shitstorms of deletions and bannings. A lot of the time these posts are encouraged, if not started by one or two anons that post bait, inciting arguements (a common phrase noticed is discouraging "the hugbox").

Regardless of whether this is the work of one or several anons, everyone should just avoid posting ANYTHING in regards to meta. If we don't break the rules, they can't ban or delete us (save storytimes) and we avoid drawing the attention of mod(s). This includes complaining about deletions and bans. The only time you should post anything related to meta is change the topic away from it. If something gets deleted without an obvious or just cause, and you NEED to vent about it, take it up with the Feedback page, go to the IRC, or post here. But say nothing in the thread.

I don't want us to go the way of /hsg/ and we are on track to joining them if this shit keeps up. If anyone else has a better idea of what our options are, please let them be known. If not, let's stay on-topic, be civil with one-another, and obey the rules even if it goddamn kills us.
