This group will no longer be maintained. The perks for being in the Steam group have been removed from the Rust monthly server. All players on that server can now craft a recycler with the proper components. No new joins will be permitted. The only reason I'm not straight up deleting the group is because it would require me to manually remove nearly 500 members.

Hello @everyone and WELCOME to the November 2023 community update!

First off, on the Rust side of the house, as always, there will be a Rust game update on Thursday. Due to DST ending, the update comes out at 3pm EST/EDT this month . The long awaited underground to above ground train track update will come out. You’ll be able to start on the surface in a train and proceed underground or vice-versa! There’s other new stuff coming with the update to include base “decorations” and some new storage. Facepunch will release the information about this on wipe day, or you can find it on the internet.

Being the first Thursday of the month, BP’s will be wiped on the Biweekly server and BP’s and Skill Tree will be wiped on the Monthly server.

Due to the map changes, the map I started to edit for the Biweekly server will not work. I will have to run an unedited proc gen map. Please check the ⁠🗺map-update-preview channel for the map. This also will affect every custom map that has the trainyard. That includes the Archipelago map that has been run on the monthly server for the last couple of weeks. The map dev is aware of the issue and will be working to ensure his maps are updated. This MAY result in a delay of that server being updated.

There also seems to be a number of changes that, as always, can affect our plugins. I will do my best to be on at wipe to monitor for plugin updates. It’s likely that some plugins will break. If you find anything not working, please be sure to post in the #known bugs channel if I haven’t already posted in there.

On the DayZ side of things, VenCed and Northernpike have been hard at work on an update that includes new POI’s, new vehicles and new quests.
