How to download Steam games

There are basically 2 ways:

1) Install the game on a different OS - typically Linux, although some XNA/fnaify games Windows only, and then copy the files over to your OpenBSD install.

Windows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

Linux:
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common

2) Use depotdownloader, an OpenBSD package. This way, you don't need to boot into a different OS:

# pkg_add depotdownloader $ depotdownloader -appname "Rogue Legacy" -username myuser

12:19 <@brynet> thfr: BTW, because it's not immediately obvious, if you get an error about Steam Guard you can paste the code into the terminal window running depotdownloader.
