From PhatPipe to Javelin

Greetings PhatPipers!

When we started playing Star Trek Online we created Javelin. With Star Citizen coming we have created a Javelin (Javelinsog) group for that platform. Please know all members of PhatPipe are welcome to join us in JSOG for the up coming game play in SC. It's shaping up to be a lot of fun. Currently we have multiples of every ship in the game except a Javelin. Considering the need for 60 players just to fly one, I think we can wait on that.

Also we have a dedicated TeamSpeak3 Server running with 512 slots. It's open to all members and I will provide a unique game channel for you if needed. A Discord server is also up and running.

Well folks that time of year is here! Happy Halloween, and welcome to the year of Monoculous. There are gifts and hats a plenty, and costmes a plenty.

There are three main Halloween maps; the original Mann Manor, KOTH Harvest Event (featuring the Headless Horseman), and the koth viaduct event, or EYEADUCT (featuring Monoculous).

We are putting dedicated servers up for all of the Halloween event maps starting today. So take a break from Battlefield 3, and come celebrate Halloween TF2 style.

Stats/Homepage Back In Action

After a week of troubleshooting we finally narrowed down the problem with the stats/home page. Turned out to be a case sensitivity issue with the TF2_Stats.spx and .sp files. Seems they need to be all lower case. Works like a dream. Enjoy the new stats.

Moving on Up

This first week PhatPipe was initially ranked in the 9th percentile on GameTracker.com, we moved steadily from 9th to 14th to 15th to the 29th percentile. Thanks to everyone who has joined us and keep up the play time.

Servers Go Live

On Monday January 17, 2011 our first server went live. It is 16 maps, 11 capture point, 4 payload, and 1 ctf. We host on the fasterst internet on the planet according to CNN and I have to say as a 20 year internet user, its quick. Following 2 days after the first server we put our second server online. It is called PhatPipe World Traveler Achievement and is setup for players to achieve the World Traveler Achievement. Aquiring this achievement means you have completed each of 6 maps. They include 2fort, dustbowl, granary, gravelpit, hydro & well. Enjoy.
