RANKING SYSTEM

In the interest of transparency, let us define our community ranking structure. Below I have outlined both Special and Post ranks. To clarity, Special ranks are assigned to your account in acknowledgement for exceptional contributions, whereas Post ranks are applied to your account upon meeting a certain community post count.

...So, without further ado, let's go through it;

Granted to those who prove their loyalty to our community through sharing interesting or otherwise useful subject matter, providing support to fellow members and being an all-round exceptional user. Special ranks are given and not requested, so please do not waste either of our time by asking!

Field Marshal
This position is reserved for both community games service and bulletin board administrators. Whilst having overall decision making authority, Field Marshals take into consideration all Special ranking member opinions before acting. However, their primary role is to make sure that all of our services are running optimally, they try not to get involved too much into the day-to-day management of the community forums.

General
A forum professional and avid community games service member. This position is filled by a vote from our community members every four years. Eligible candidates are picked from the 'Lieutenant General' Special rank and must have a Post rank of 'Colonel'. The primary role for this position is to mentor those with a Special rank of 'Lieutenant General', organising community events and reporting to the 'Field Marshal' wherever appropriate.

Lieutenant General
A supportive and highly influential community member, appreciated by many. This position is filled by a vote from our community members every three years. Eligible candidates are picked from the 'Major General' Special rank and must have a Post rank of 'Major'. The primary role for this position is to mentor those with a Special rank of 'Major General', playing a supportive role for and reporting to the 'General' wherever appropriate.

Major General
An incredible contributor and avid community organiser. This position is filled by a vote from our community members every two years. Eligible candidates are picked from the 'Brigadier General' Special rank and must have a Post rank of 'Lieutenant Colonel'. The primary role for this position is to mentor those with a Special rank of 'Brigadier General', moderating the bulletin boards and reporting to the 'Lieutenant General' wherever appropriate.

Brigadier General
Active and always among the first to respond, this member has proven themselves to be an asset to us. This position is filled by a vote from the Special ranking members every year. Eligible candidates are picked from the 'Captain' Post rank. The primary role for this position is to find and recruit new members. Reporting to the 'Major General' wherever appropriate.
