So in case you haven't been following TF2, there was a mod recently that attempts to emulate TF2 as it was in 2007/2008. I've been having a ton of fun playing it, and I've figured I might as well try to host a server myself with the aim of having a ton of custom maps on it. I finally figured out how the fuck to get people to even be able to connect, and within 20 minutes it's already filled to the brim with players. I'm currently loading up the maps onto it, but I thought I might as well let people here know about it, and gauge any interest in it.
Even if no one here is interested it's going up anyway, as I've always wanted to host my own server (and with my recent move + gigabit internet it makes it possible), advertise/viral it on /v/, and this is the perfect opportunity. I'm not sure how laggy it might end up being, but as I said it's on a gigabit connection and my PC is pretty beefy now.
The IP is 100.14.150.244, probably won't change but I'm still figuring out the server .cfg, settings and such. No random crits and no random spread will definitely be a thing though.
