Hi everybody!

After being away for 5 years, I relaunched the [EU]Game Of Stones Rust server.
It's running in "softcore" mode to have a more easy experience.
It's monitored through Discord so admin actions can be taken rapidly.

We are running 150 slots on a custom high performance home hosted server.

Wanted plugin activated

To support the fight again terro...I mean killing on sight, I installed the WANTED FOR MURDER plugin, here's how it works (copy paste from the oxide website):

This provides a disincentive for PvP without actually removing the ability to kill. If you kill a sleeping player, or kill an awake player and then they type /punish in chat, you will be branded a murderer. Wanted murderers can't have any beds or sleeping bags, so death has consequences if you're wanted.

You can kill wanted murderers without fear of punishment, and it is not considered murder to kill an intruder on your property (based on cupboard status). However, it is considered murder to shoot someone out in unclaimed territory or in the victim's territory, even if you are standing within your cupboard radius.

Commands:
/wanted Show the list of wanted murderers.
/punish Put the last person who killed you on the wanted list.
/forgive [<name>] Remove the record of someone murdering you. If you were the only person they murdered, they will no longer be considered a murderer.
/pardon <name> If you are in the Sheriffs list, you can pardon a murderer of all crimes.

Its wipe week, that means the PvE zone protection has been lifted and everything can be destroyed.

Server has been updated.

The official Rust servers have been wiped, including the XP.
Our server, however, did not wipe and (hopefully) the xp system is untouched!

To make sure you all will have a great time when the server update hits this evening, the server is going offline right now for maintenance/testing.

Keep in mind that if you do join, the server may reboot regularly. It will also be allready wiped!

Wipe and big update today + last chance to DESTROY EVERYTHING

Today is the big XP-system upgrade.
The Rust devs expect it to go live in about 8 hours.

Because of this new update I want to COMPLETELY reinstall the entire server. The plugin configuration will be redone (all from scratch) and also DECAY WILL BE ENABLED.

Decay wasnt active (except for twigs) on our server, this started to cause major server lag and loading issues. Less than two weeks after the last wipe, we allready hit 600k+ entities (that is INSANE). It was too late to activate decay at that time, the damage was already done.

The DESTROY EVERYTHING event will not last untill the time the wipe hits (the server will go down sooner because of the huge maintenance), if you want to enjoy blowing up stuff with the free C4, you have to join asap!

Hope to see you all after the wipe and keep an eye on this page, I will post updates on a regular basis today.

From now on I will start a "DESTROY EVERYTHING" event a couple of days before a full (inv + bp) wipe.

This means that players will be able to request a ton of C4 by using the /kit command. This way you can go around and just destroy everything (put some Slayer on as background music :D).

The first event will start this Wednesday !!

Quick server maintenance

Hi all,

I decided not to take the server down untill next week.

To keep things going as best as they can (not easy at this point :D) I'm doing a small server maintenance.

Currently I'm running an Oxide update along with some plugin updates.

Back online in a couple of minutes!

Hi all,

Since the server isnt running smooth AT ALL I'm bringing it down untill the wipe hits. It may be up for a couple of hours the upcoming week but that will be for testing purposes.

Server maintenance will be performed during this period so when the update hits we are ready to go!
